What is the pathway?
There are 2 main pathways to your Graphic Design Career.
Year 10 graduates are qualified to enter into our Certificate 3 in Design Fundamentals, a 6 month course that covers the elements & principles of art and design.
You will then be able to move on to the Certificate 4 in Graphic Design once complete.
Year 12 graduates can enrol directly in our Certificate 4 in Graphic Design, a 6 month course that builds a strong, practical foundation in design thinking, technical skills and creative expression.
This pathway readies you for our 12 month Diploma of Graphic Design course, where you will learn more advanced design & conceptualisation skills, build a portfolio and work towards becoming industry-ready.

Where is Hornsby Design?
Hornsby Design is exceptionally well‑positioned for easy access from the Sydney CBD, the Northern Beaches and the Central Coast.
Located at 205 Peats Ferry Road, the campus is surrounded by native bushland and is approximately 500m from Hornsby train station, which is a short 5 minute walk.
Hornsby Train Station is serviced by the North Shore Line, the Northern Line, and the Central Coast & Newcastle Line.
Rail & bus services run regularly to the North Shore, Sydney CBD, Central Coast and other nearby locations. The Central Coast is approximately a 45 minute drive on the M1 Motorway.
