
Mr Sheen Rebrand

Project Brief
The goal of this project is to redesign the outdated brand logo and character illustration for the cleaning product Mr. Sheen.
The new logo should appeal to a younger, environmentally-conscious audience while still maintaining familiarity for long-time loyal customers. In addition to the logo, the designer must produce mockups that showcase the updated visual identity across relevant applications.
My Design
To maintain a sense of familiarity, I chose to approach the rebrand through the concept of inheritance. The original Mr. Sheen featured an older businessman in a suit, so I reimagined the character as a younger, more relatable figure—an average Joe with a cape who is meant to be the son of the original.
This superhero element symbolizes the brand’s renewed energy and its mission to connect with a new generation. The use of green in the illustration reflects ecofriendly values, aligning with the environmental awareness of today’s consumers.
To further appeal to a younger audience, I adopted a doodle-inspired, cartoonish illustration style that feels playful, modern, and approachable.
